The Dodgers have long been known for their excellent pitching. Selecting a nine-member pitching staff from the 136-year old franchise is no easy task. “The All-Time Staff” depicts the nine pitchers chosen by Ned Colletti. They span nearly 100 years of Dodger history, from 1922 to the present day.
Dave Hobrecht paints these nine pitching greats, the starters in the foreground and the others behind them, with both Ebbets Field and Dodger Stadium in the background. From Hall of Famers Koufax and Drysdale, friends on and off the field, to current Dodger greats Kershaw and Jansen, Hobrecht captures each of them individually in their prime and together as a group -- an all-time staff that is second to none.
